Graduated in Biology at the Second University of Naples with a thesis in General Physiology entitled "Study of the effects of 3,5-diiodo-L-thyronine (T2) on hepatic steatosis. Evaluation of the possible role of mitochondrial sirtuin SIRT3", works in medical clinics and laboratories accredited with SSN - Italian National Health System.

Engaged in the fields of Clinical Chemistry and Hematology, he studies autoimmune hemolytic diseases, hemoglobinopathies and neonatal hemolytic diseases.

Since 2017 Sebastiano is one of the Experts and Researchers of AGENAS (National Agency for Regional Health Services).
Since 2016 is a member of SIBIOC (Italian Society of Clinical Biochemistry and Clinical Molecular Biology), active in the "Protein" study group.

He participated in the "Ethics in health and technologies" course organized by the LUISS Business School of Rome, in the Bioethics courses organized by the Faculty of Bioethics of the Pontifical University Regina Apostolorum (APRA), European University of Rome (UER), UNESCO Chair in Bioethics and Human Rights (APRA), Institute of Science and Faith (APRA) and Master in Philosophical Counseling Existential Anthropology (APRA-UER).

During the Covid-19 period his training continued with the "Istituto Superiore di Sanità" in Rome, with particular attention to surveillance protocols.

In constant professional updating through courses and meetings organized by the ONB (National Order of Biologists), Sebastiano aims at a professional growth in the field of Life Science and Healthcare.
